MAD MAX MARATHON

This RED DIRT Adventure Marathon Festival is being held for a FIFTH time on Sunday 25th July 2027 in the iconic outback town of Broken Hill in north west NSW.

If you are after something completely different in terms of terrain, outback hospitality, amazing tourist attractions (think Mad Max 2 Museum, Pro Hart Gallery, Bell’s 1950’s Milk Bar, historic Palace Hotel etc) then the Mad Max Marathon Festival is for you.  

But it is not just about the marathon.  There is a half marathon, 10km, 5km and even a 2km free Kids’ Dash.  All with an incredible desert landscape as a backdrop.
